I’m always thinking about this passage from the Duskmourn story, where Kaito finds pause by his observations about Zimone.

Zimone here is relatable to how I feel as a newer player in Magic spaces, particularly online and especially when people talk about Magic burnout or Set Fatigue. (1/3)
https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/magic-story/episode-one-dont-go-past-the-old-dark-house

"We'll have to wait for my companions. They're traveling via Omenpath."
Zimone looked at him politely, clearly not understanding why that was a problem, and Kaito realized she lacked the certain haunted cast to her eyes that he associated with former Planeswalkers. For her, the advent of the Omenpaths had been the beginning of a bright new era, not the ending of a beloved older one.
Together, they turned to watch the square.

Still thinking about Capenna's Humors-Based-HRT
A screenshot of text from the Magic the Gathering story "No Tells" by Isaac Gellman. It reads:
"I don't get it, Yuma," said Elnor. She was cool for a woman with thunder pointed at her; I could smell the power, like the smell of rain coming to the desert. "Weren't we good to you? Didn't we accept you when nobody else did? Didn't we hook you up with the best body-man in the city to change your humors, to make you a fella?"

The scry 2 was definitively a winning factor in my choice to build him. The built in card advantage is so nice.

What really supports it though is the tokens having vigilance. I underestimated that I’m getting to scry basically every turn while still keeping my defenses up.

Talrand is sick! I considered putting him in this list for that reason, but decided that it took away from the birds 😂

I’ve gotten to play my Hermes deck a couple times now and I’m excited to polish it up more! I definitely like blue more now than when I initially started trying it.

The birds really help I think

have been desperately looking for this old erotic Spanish comic I stumbled on almost 10 years ago called "El secreto de Frankenstein" and I'm so happy to report I finally found it
black & white comic panel depicting a sexy, thicc Frankenstein's monster disrobing in 3 different poses - pulling his shirt of his shoulder, seen at an angle; from the front, shirtless, beginning to take his pants off; then almost totally nude as seen from behind. the words at the top read "Strip-tease de Frankenstein..."

I have a genuine question:

When it comes to things like say, the competitive problem & things like a decklist taking over the scene, why does the blame go first to players outside that scene and not the people in the format who are just copying and pasting Winning Decks?
