Green: You know what's the best part of the holidays? Blue: What is it? Green: All our problems are next year's problems. All can wait until January. While Blue's expression remains peaceful, Green opens his eyes in realisation to his words. Blue: Except for that thing in the sink. Both of the foxes turn to look at something coming in from outside of the comic panel, with slimy tentacle-like tendrils reaching towards them. Green: Oh right. We should probably do something about that.

Okay bear with me. My amazing friend Robyn (@haykebyr.bsky.social) did this amazing image based on my stupid ass joke. It's Miss Piggy photoshopped into some Sister of Battle armour, with the white bob haircut and a fleur de lys tattoo on her cheek and everything. Except she's got pink satin gloves on. A comic in which we open on master artist, god amongst men, creator of Garfield, Jim Davis. He sits at a graphic tablet, drawing his latest masterpeice. There is a look of happiness on his face, but the way he is underlit by the screen tells us something is off. Jim says: "HA HA, 'DID YOU EAT MY LASAGNA,' HA HA" In the next panel we switch to Jim's POV and see what's on the tablet's screen. There is a full colour drawing of Garfield. Jim's hand, holding a stylus, is obscuring part of the image, as he writes in Not-Heathcliff's dialogue. All that is written is "SM" The next panel is the same view, but now the dialogue is complete, and Jim's hand isn't visible, allowing us to see the image --and dialogue-- in full: "SMITE THE NON-BELIEVERS, JIM... BUILD ME A THRONE OF THEIR SKULLS" Final panel. Jim looks as weirdly happy as ever, but now his face is beaded in sweat. There is a beat, before he quietly says "y-yes... master"

Green: Once we get home, I'll read a book, weave two baskets, re-arrange the pantry, learn esperanto- Blue interrupts Green, who turns to listen. Blue: That's quite a list. Are you sure you're being completely realistic? Green takes a momentary pause from being cartoonish, being now depicted as a painstakingly detailed and shaded painting of a fox, with fur texture, whiskers and all. Extremely realistic Green: Of course. Returning back to normal, Green keeps walking. Blue follows, looking at Green with suspicion. Blue: How long did it take you to draw that gag? Green: A lot longer than I am willing to admit.
