Hi.
This still feels like the plot of a Sick Lit novel, & not my life, but it is in fact reality.
A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with a rare brain disease, IIH.
I’m not terminal, but if it progresses, I can lose my vision and/or need brain surgery.
I’m terrified and trying to remain optimistic.🫠

So these blood thinners they got me on for preop have KO’d my ass. So started taking down some of the decos today. Killed my soul.
But since I’ll have to fully stop meds here soon which will KO even more, & I have to take everything down myself before surgery might as well get started now 😭

Got back from neurosurgery consult in Houston late last night. Have a lot to think about. I’m definitely getting the surgery feel more confident in that. Just gotta decide on who and where now.
