I know my ebike would. Literally anything on or off the road would have trouble in a crash test with a Ranger, and somehow, it's not the Rangers, Amaroks, Rams, and so on that are the problem?

I am honestly on the verge of getting my license just so I can get a car that makes the Punisher's War Wagon look like a Beetle by comparison, out of pure fucking spite for the absolute disrespect they show urbanism. Give them what they clearly want on the roads.

I would get a driver's license if I could get a Topolino, or something like the Squad Solar, but L6 and L7 microcars are straight up illegal in Australia. Why? My state roads authority says because they would "fare poorly in a head-on collision with a Ford Ranger". So would a house.

I stand corrected, the setting is right there in "Controller", in the menu. So many settings and I didn't see it!

I don’t hate the new cutscenes, but I’m glad you’re adding the option.
Big thing I’d like changed, though: the weapon wheel. I don’t think you can rebind which stick makes the selection, and with it on the left stick it’s not consistent with the rest of Nightdive’s remasters.

Personally I'd just like to keep a tele-op robot at work for days when I can't be fucked going in. I always say to people "I can't work from home. My screwdrivers don't reach that far". Well now they can!

Millennials grew up with very intentional software and hardware and strove for more connection. We all wanted offline messages on MSN, friend lists on our game consoles, and music streaming. Online all the things! That gave rise to social media, and the constant posting grind and dopamine chasing.

Just to elaborate on that: zoomers were all finishing up high school, or their first year of uni, amid the pandemic. Classes and exams got forced online. To them, notifications have practically NEVER been a dopamine fix, they’ve been a source of anxiety. It’s no wonder they’d want to disconnect.

One word: intentionality. Retro Tech does usually one or two thinks, and doesn't constantly scream notifications at you. You pick up your iPod, you're listening to music. You pick up your PSP, you're playing a game. It's a disconnection from the demands of online life.

How are esports even gendered at all for them to ban trans women?! Even if you think there are gendered arguments to be made for athletics, it's a big stretch to think that translates at all to cognition and mouse movements sufficient to gender-segregate esports, or bar trans people.

This is a great time to dive back in as indie devs are going to pride themselves on real human voice acting, while the big studios try to sneakily go AI. There'll be no shortage of offers going.

I still remember my fake date of birth, even though I haven’t used that identity since I was about 15. 23rd of June ’83. I made the identity up when I was 13, and some websites inexplicably had signups that required you to be 18, so I aged up a bit.

The most hated juxtaposition of two letters: AI. First they did it to the GPU prices for the raw compute power (AND hobbled a whole generation of hardware for actually graphics use), now the slop Factories need RAM.
