Putting all my stuff in cubes today. Having to get rid of even more than we planned which is triggering all the “omg I’m homeless again” feels even though I’m not. But I can’t live here anymore, so sacrifice it is. I hope I land on my feet after this leap of faith.

I have no idea who started the rumor or why. And disclaimer, it is a *very* ableist rumor which I don’t condone by any means. But starting in 3rd grade I was told this, as was my siblings, and told to stay away because they’d eat you for pigment. It was just…common sense.
