Any Democratic votes to fund DHS later this month as Minneapolis is being terrorized by DHS is going to be a major slap in the face to Americans living here. Demand major reforms or shut the government down.

My thoughts today are with the security people and police officers who defended the Capitol on January 6 and have been treated with such distain since by the GOP. For them and the Democratic leadership who lived through such chaos and no doubt continue to carry the scars within. We will not forget.

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.
As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

The men behind Trump's policies are not stupid. Vance, Bought, etc. So what is the thinking behind blocking future health care workers from getting financial aid/loans while also keeping foreign hc workers from entering the country? Are their rich kids gonna do these difficult jobs?
