Increasingly I feel like I favor furry because it espouses the idea that humans, for all our mastery over nature, are still animals. We need to nap and wander and frolic and utter strange noises. It is good for us to be weird little guys, which is something society is so committed to stripping away.

How does everything feel terrible now? The Tiny Me in OSHA-approved Hi-Vis Gear Who lives in my brain and pulls all the levers: Boss, it's the fascism. You're completely gunked up with cortisol due to the fact that your entire daily life is now underscored with a haunting awareness of the rapid erosion of your rights, dignity, and any and all social safety nets, and you're also bearing witness to the most vulnerable people immediately being persecuted. This creates a natural stress response that basically means you're going to continue having memory and organizational problems, as well as emotional imbalances. Me: BUT I HAVE A BULLET JOURNAL AND I MEDITATE NOW. Tiny OSHA Me: BOSS, THE FASCISM.

Happy NYE! Our plans got cancelled due to illness in the family, so to recoup from the disappointment of not having anything, I cooked this ramen! Over 8h of work to get this done, but am proud of how it turned out. Wish yall could taste it!

Happy holidays everyone ❤️
The snow fell like tiny ballerinas in the cold, brisk winter dusk. Somewhere, wedged between two large building, remains a small brick townhouse, the ground floor occupied by a café where many a local gather at for a bit of warmth. The doorbell rings, the skunky barista turning their head whilst preparing a latte for a waiting customer to see the eager possat awaiting to ask for her favourite beverage. At one of the seats, a snow leopard, busy writing and enjoying their cup of comfort. Work days were long, demanding and tiring, but Espresso wouldn't have it any other way. Having built a small community around their dinky, but cozy hole-in-the-wall coffee shop was what they were always after. Seeing their customers' smile, day after day, easily offsets the wear of the daily, incessant coffee and tea brewing for hundreds of faces, regulars and only-once-on-a-visit-in-town alike.
