HE is the center of his own universe, which he's managed to manipulate to his own great benefit his entire life.
There's not a lot of self-reflection in NPD, but I'd bet if he thinks there's any possibility, at all, of an after-life, it's a *bonus prize* and he'd be totally entitled to that, too.
