If the online chatter is correct, Trump is on the verge of accomplishing something that may genuinely better the planet:

1. A real ceasefire for Palestine
2. Dying

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

I'm excited for Limp Bizkit, but I'm a little worried about Antifa...
Question
I'm sick and tired of seeing these thugs terrorize big events and am worried that they will try to interrupt Limp Bizkit's set. My gf (F19) and I (M31) are going to our first Lollapalooza and are concerned about the growing threat around the city

Despite my ability to withstand smut and offensiveness, my general understanding of Ryan Murphy's schtick, AND my interest in true crime... I could not finish the Monster: Ed Gein miniseries. It was just too much. The only enjoyable parts were Hunnam's depiction and the side plots about horror films

One of the things I envy most about people in certain subsets of academia (which isn’t much these days) is the fact that their careers allow them long periods of off-grid time in random places around the world. Often subsidized or part of their research!

Sorry, coming back to this. I wasn’t saying these guys suck or that they were like today’s incels… I was saying they found art, worked at it, and contributed to society, unlike many of today’s incels, none of whom I think are disposable human beings. they need help!

“One struck Black in the head, exploding into a puff of white pepper smoke and forcing him to his knees. Fellow demonstrators rushed to his aid, and as the pastor rubbed his face in pain, the agents continued to fire.”

“We could hear them laughing,” Rev. Black said.

NEW: I spoke to clergy and faith leaders who've joined protests at the Chicago-area ICE facility.

Three say they've been shot with pepper balls, sometimes while praying.

All say ICE is also violating their religious freedom, and one is arguing it in court. religionnews.com/2025/10/07/i...

I know their histories lol. I realize that’s the legal definition of the term but “incel“ is also a vibe and an overarching group of lonely in 2025 standards of behavior. That is literally how they are using it themselves in
these sorts of online communities

you could always ask, im right here. I have lifelong depression, have had extensive treatments for it, and everyone does. Ian Curtis woulda been a mopey gamer incel 100%

People are so mad that I called Ian Curtis an incel (by the vague online vibe definition) that they’re really gonna be mad when I say that New Order is so much better than Joy Division

Good grief. My LiveJournal can legally drink.

This isn't even my first LiveJournal. This is the one I made after my parents found my first one.

Ever since I was a girl, I knew I wanted to write down my thoughts and have other people read and reply. Thank you for giving me a diary and an audience.
An email I received from LiveJournal, saying I got a new achievement -- a blog that's 21 years old. It's my LiveJournal's birthday
