What if the apocalypse didn’t hate us? What if it just wanted to help? Pluribus ends with a village deemed obsolete and an atom bomb delivered on request. Gilligan’s calmest horror about uniformity and AI.

From August. My first cincinnatus! I guess it fruits earlier than Laetiporus sulphureus around here.

2026 bringing a new era of consequences for being a piece of shit. I hope everyone has the year they deserve.

Idk who needs to hear this, but some people DON'T drain all your energy and remind you why you only see them once a year. They're out there, welcoming you to their table with treats and 0 judgment about how many treats you've already had ;)

Re: taxing the rich to make society better, bs contrarians are like: "but they'll go somewhere else." Pretend that's true. Not if everywhere else is taxing them just as much. So, all the cities, states, and nations collude and price-fix wealth taxes everywhere. Problem solved. #taxtherich

John brown gun club, anyone? Leftists must take up arms!
Abolitionist John Brown was executed by the state of Virginia on December 2, 1859.

Thinking fondly of years past; stressed that I had 4-5 feasts/fetes to attend this time of year; while I prepare a dinner for one.

People become smart and good at things because they HAVE to. If everything is handed to you on a silver platter, you don't grow, and you're probably stupid and bad at everything.

I hate musical theater. Never seen #Wicked or even read Frank Baum. I'm only aware of Ariana Grande because I live in a society. But. I want a Sapphic romance novel based on this.
Guys I’m not gonna watch Wicked 2 but I am watching all the lesbiancore montages of Cynthia and Ariana and I am giving this storyline 5 stars

Grappling with how to be respected but not lonely as a neurodivergent, trans adult.

I think any story about Trump's autocracy should be mostly about the people and institutions who failed to stop it. This guy isn't a political genius, everything else just happens to be rotten. 'Toddler Consolidates Power In Household' is a story about incompetent parents, not shrewd maneuvering

Probably overdue for Microsoft boycott, tbh.
I asked Microsoft PR about this—specially the DHS using Halo IP to recruit for ICE—and the company declined to comment.

Quit 3 years ago, never looked back. Bandcamp all the way, baby!
ICE is running ads on Spotify.

Boycott. Opt out. Unsubscribe.

On some level, we all knew the "change my mind" tagline from conservative influencers going to colleges was disingenuous. People are just tacking it on to every hot take now. The etymology nerd should talk about this.

I'll take it one step further: it's capitalism.

It'll always create unjust hierarchies. Corrupting democracy and politics is one of the ways it demonstrates that effect
The oil industry buys off Congress. No action on climate.

The NRA buys off Congress. No action on guns.

Insurance companies buy off Congress. No action on health care.

The list goes on and on.

Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

They're not listening to the protests, just plotting to send us all to the same concentration camps as the people the U.S. gestapo is currently kidnapping. We need a general strike now!
Mass demonstrations symbolically say to your target "We don't like what you're doing."

If the target doesn't care what you think, there is little impact.

But when you withdraw support by not cooperating with the target, their power is weakened.

Disappointed but not entirely surprised.
Girl, your adding to the “debate” by supporting JK Rowling’s work that she uses to fund the genocide of trans people. You don’t get to just enter a “magical world” while actively supporting a fascist bigot’s pocketbook to do more harm. Also, calling it a “debate” is a TERF dogwhistle phrase.
