Why aren't there shouts that Trump is being a socialist by taking $12 billion in tariff taxes, paid by all of us, and giving it to a select group...farmers?

Incredible fail by a smart reporter. Truly. This data has gotten a lot of coverage this week. cc @gregsargent.bsky.social
According to the latest WaPo/Schar School poll, Trump’s handling of deportations has 37% approval, 52% disapproval.

And Quinnipiac has it at 40% approval, 56% disapproval.

But @facethenation.bsky.social insists “public approval is so high on deportation.”
BRENNAN: The public approval is so high of deportation

PADILLA: It depends how you ask the question. If you ask the same people, 'Do you think we should maintain due process in the US?' the answer is overwhelmingly yes

Citizens United is among the worst decisions in Supreme Court history.

It's allowed billionaires to completely take over our politics and destroy our democracy.

There are days when we are reminded just how pernicious that ruling was.

Today is one of those days.

Why aren't our Democratic representatives getting attention (like the Republicans did) by assembling on the Capitol steps to condemn Trump's illegal actions and do what they can do to stop Musk's activities and intrusion into classified data systems. Trump isn't king, so where is the outrage?

Why isn't VP Kamala Harris going to represent the U.S.A. with other country government heads at the Notre Dame official opening? Trump should NOT be allowed to do this, but if he isn't stopped he will.

So glad to see Joe Biden pardon his son. Hunter Biden's prosecution was politically motivated, with Congressional Republicans pushing the Trump appointed judge to "deny" the agreement made by US attorney David Weiss, also appointed by Trump.
