whether by nature or nurture, there is a class of people who will always prefer death and destruction over a reduction in profits. they cannot be reasoned with. they cannot be taught empathy. they will watch young people shot, dismembered, and buried alive, and they will say that god is good.

As committing to that course would trigger the insurrection act as well as other fascist acts of brutality. This reticence is understandable, no one wants to be the one to break the glass but the longer we are forced to take this without help the more likely it is something much worse happens here.

The longer the governor and the mayor deny the reality that the federal government is already at war against us all the more likely it becomes that they lose control completely versus actually protecting the citizens of this city. The hard truth is the war is here and they are scared of committing

We saw DHS vehicles deployed drones this evening, and there has been some confirmation of that from other vantage points showing ice/customs using drones in their vehicles.
The federal government is waging a brutal grey war in this state that is going to get out of hand in a way that is unmanageable

When those of us on the ground here in Minneapolis, say the federal government is at war against us,It’s not hyperbole. nor is it hyperbole when those of us who are academics who study and write about the far right and authoritarian systems say this is a fascist terror state and a war.
