I think couples in love are amazing fun to write. I do not think they need constant drama inflicted on their love.
One thing I love about @gailsimone.bsky.social X-men run is how she is able to show a healthy marriage between rogue and gambit while not losing the plot or having them disagree once and awhile.
Not enough comic writers, I feel, know how to do this and it’s why most comic characters stay single.
