San Diego, CA
Just an unbelievable amount of entitlement. Jumps the left into me and a bunch of pedestrians, blocks the car lane and then cuts across the wrong side of the street. These are the people who complain about bike lanes on 30th st. CA 8AET435

Definitely sick of this garbage behavior.

Do you have any updates on this? This is still a constant problem, just yesterday:
February 13, 2026 at 8:55 PM
That's what it feels like when you're on the ground, but then you go to google maps and it's even more that you imagine 😂

Traffic is good for businesses and Convoy is literally surrounded by 3 freeways. There is no reason it should be used as a cut thru highway.
February 11, 2026 at 11:40 PM
There's a renewed push to restore parking on Convoy St.

If you have a second please email:
Council President Pro Tem Kent Lee
[email protected]

And tell him to implement parking protected bike lanes. There is more than enough room for both on Convoy.

Beyond parody, Sysco hunts down the most dangerous possible places to park. @bikelaneuprising.bsky.social

If you've ever been to SD, you know the striped area is the walk/bike path which has been reduced to that, to maximize car parking.

It's nowhere near any possible delivery locations. 😵‍💫

They obviously don't, as evidenced by the fact that they can't stay in their lanes around curves, destroy all plastic infrastructure and complain about concrete infrastructure scratching their car because they are going too fast to avoid it.
February 9, 2026 at 4:58 PM
literally everytime they block the bike lane, 5th ave looks like this
February 8, 2026 at 6:53 PM
They basically refuse to make deliveries on 5th ave as it is and insist on parking in the J st bike lane or double parking blocking half of Island Ave anyway.
February 8, 2026 at 6:46 PM
lol

tbf, they also planted some new trees to replace the ones they cut down for no reason 😵‍💫

"Meets City Standards"
February 6, 2026 at 3:02 PM
Absolutely correct. This is Gilman Dr, it is a huge gap btw UCSD and the only bike route to downtown.

The city of San Diego is spending an ungodly amount of money and using eminent domain to build a bike lane ex nihilo out of the hillside instead of simply using one of the existing vehicle lanes.
February 6, 2026 at 3:18 AM
Narrow roads are a problem for which vehicle?
February 6, 2026 at 2:57 AM
Safety is my goal.
February 4, 2026 at 11:07 PM
It's engineering malpractice to have a parking garage ramp merge into a busy city street. Drivers constantly make a dangerous illegal right turn from the middle lane here around the SD Library garage ramp. Especially dangerous when they turn right on red from the middle lane. #sandiego
February 4, 2026 at 3:48 PM
I'll forget about this when we get a single, just one, fully safe bike route for the short trip downtown to the Beach in San Diego.
February 4, 2026 at 1:38 AM
not with the money going to tesla and whatever tf this is

There were too many great group rides to choose from this weekend in #sandiego !

February 2, 2026 at 9:47 PM
This one block on Pacific Highway has more bike lane obstructions than some entire cities 😂😭
February 2, 2026 at 6:53 PM
Yeah, we understand they don't burn gasoline. I'm trying to demonstrate to you in the most visceral way possible we still feel negatively about them.
February 2, 2026 at 5:40 PM
This is why.
February 2, 2026 at 5:11 PM
Awesome !

Also, a reminder that this is an undercount, because there are often cars blocking the counter.
