What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.

Don’t know if it is good or bad, but with ChatGPT, challenging literature becomes a lot more accessible. Just finished reading Othello, and loved it. Now on Pynchon’s Inherent Vice and it is great, and making sense. Read Eliot’s Middlemarch, too. Are others using ChatGPT this way too?

Before the election, the media constantly said voters were worried about ‘kitchen table issues.’ That’s a vague expression, but shouldn’t the media be using it now? I never hear it any more. Are people worried about kitchen table issues now?

Wow, I had no idea all the countries of the world were ganging up on the US and treating it unfairly. I’m glad the US has never been unfair to any other countries.

The problem with Elon is we can't fire him because we never hired him.

And we can't impeach him because we never put him in office.

But the DC police can arrest him as a private citizen for trespassing next time he barges into federal offices without legit authorization.

I find I’m more angry with the 36% of Americans who didn’t vote than with the 33% who voted for Trump.

I don’t understand what kind of world they live in. Did they think it didn’t matter?
