When someone tells you they have a hidden disability (like autism/adhd) and your 1st thought is that they don't look like they have that disability... the correct response is not to question if they have the disability but rather to question your understanding of it. That is all.

I suggest that we create EU Army right now. Even if NATO would survive the ongoing hybrid attack by Putin/Trump, there is no harm in EU being independent of USA. If USA get's its democracy back at some point, it's a plus. Until then we have to assume that Putin is the puppet master operating Trump.

I think most abled people don't understand that being disabled is often a constant dance between rest and activity, trying to make sure you don't harm yourself further.

today’s thought: respect and protect disabled, elderly, and unhoused people with the knowledge that one day, you will become disabled, elderly and/or unhoused.

Update: The Medevac plane that crashed in Northeast Philadelphia killed one person on the ground and left 19 others hospitalized, in addition to killing all six people on board the aircraft.

I wish I saw an outpouring of support for disabled people who are somewhat notably also getting fucked under the current admin, but I've seen quite literally nothing.
