My Roman Empire is that our perspective on color in history is SUPER skewed because of color deterioration, and poor quality of photography when it first came about.
Even paintings, right? They get coated, but nothing can deter color deterioration in physical media forever.

Totally convinced I've had an earwax build up for YEARS. Finally got one of those cameras and when I say these ears are both as humanly clean as humanly possible....wtf?!? Are they just itchy?!? Perhaps prone to pressure changes???? I honestly don't know, but they are clean-clean.

Tattoos. I want a mermaid that works with my sword tattoo but I also want an AC Bob tattoo.... I want the mermaid first, but I know it's going to be more work, and I also think it's going to quickly devolve into an entire sea leg. But I want Bob sooner than later.
