Funny idea that stemmed from a conversation with some friends, ranking my OCs based on how much I put them through in their canon stories.

I'm Stets, I mostly focus on worldbuilding and OC art. These are my favorite pieces from the past few months, I've been slowly but surely pushing myself out of my comfort zone to do more backgrounds this year! (Character owners credited in the alt text!)

Finally got another gift done, this one is for @pinedirt.bsky.social's character Incarnis! I really love zombie characters but don't get to draw them often. My focus for this one was to experiment with painting over lines since I very rarely work without lineart!

Next gift is a scene for @issopod.bsky.social's character Razzmatias! I wanted to try out a background that had an unnatural palette since I'm used to working with a lot of greens and browns, and I thought this character's design would work really well with that sort of aesthetic!

First gift is a mini scene for @endlessknights.bsky.social's character Kelpie! I wanted to experiment with working off of a messier sketch since I spend way too much time on my refined lineart. I love characters with a lab experiment theme/backstory, so I was very excited to work on this one!

Ignore how rough these doodles are but I'm honestly still kind of conflicted on how I want to draw his arm feathers. The top concept is smaller and allows for a much clearer silhouette, but the bottom one looks a lot more like a wing which I feel is important for how I want to present him.

Finally got this OC idea out of my system. 🙏 I've had the idea for a lava-themed Xenomorph in my head for months at this point, but didn't get around to drawing it until now.
