All of my anthros (aside from my sonas) are a part of one continuous timeline, so these specific characters belong to one story in an overarching timeline. It's kind of an anthology series in a way, but there's sort of a through line that ties all five of the stories together!

Kind of! I know for a fact that I want to tell all of the stories in this specific world through some sort of visual medium. While an animated series would absolutely be the dream, I think a webcomic is probably my best bet just because of the length and scale of everything.

I absolutely adore the palette on this piece, the color choices for the background are so good!

I'll most likely open trades a day or so after finishing the scene piece I've been slowly chipping away at. There was a second scene I intended to work on before starting trades, but honestly I think I need to work on some smaller art pieces before I do scene on the scale of the one I have in mind.

No worries, and thank you! This is definitely one of my favorite stories I'm working on. It's very hard for me to not spoil the rest of the plot because I want to talk about it so bad, but I think it would be better if I started finding a way to actually show or tell it before rambling about it. 😭

I actually gave a little cliffnotes explanation a while back! It's a bit rough because I had to summarize it pretty quickly, but it briefly explains everything that led up to this scene! bsky.app/profile/okst...
I summarized the lore leading up to this art as much as I could! I put it in bullet point form to try to keep it as brief as possible, but I had to summarize most of the entire first act here, so sorry if it's still a bit wordy! 😭

Honestly, I think part of what makes him so fun for me to draw (besides my extreme bias) is his blend of features. It's really fun for me to pick out what features or mannerisms I want to focus on from either animal he's based on and find a way to make them work together.
