🚨 Our paper, "International Trade and the Transmission of Temperature Shocks," co-authored with Daniel Osberghaus, has just been published in Environmental and Resource Economics!

Das ist in der Tat ein unterbelichtetes Thema. Dadurch, dass in Forschungsprojekten immer an anderen Stellen neue Herausforderungen aufploppen (weswegen wir diesen Job ja auch lieben), finde ich es auch sehr schwer aus meinen Erfahrungen jetzt generische Projektmanagementregeln abzuleiten.

Compared to the single price zone, splitting Germany in five zones will lead electricity wholesale prices to
-increase in the South by <3% and in the West by <1%
-decrease in the North by > 10-16%
As network cost will also drop, impact on electricity cost in the South/West should be rather marginal.
