Tateishi: Yeah, my thoughts have changed since I met you and became more aware of how people felt. But even when I was at Konami, I didn’t even bother telling anyone I did Mega Man 2. So the fact you came all the way to Japan to tell me these things makes me very happy I worked on the game all those years ago.

I don't want to spoil TOO many hats but I have been putting a lot into making sure there is a good variety of cool hats, since they are the main collectible in this game.

Some are animated, many have side & back facing sprites for certain animations, and a handful are references to my other games.

A monolith is awkwardly placed in a man's living room. The man's friend asks "so how long has the monolith been in your living room?" The man says "couple of weeks..." He goes on "it tried to teach me Spanish, but I got lazy with it." The two men go back to watching television, ignoring the monolith.

Air Riders looks really damn good, as far as the racing goes I'm glad what seems to be its biggest improvement is just mechanical clarity. Attacking enemies/other racers translates directly to gaining speed even in the original, it's an action game mechanically but a racing game contextually
