Here’s the really bad part: over time, this dynamic breeds bigger and bigger crises.

Markets keep updating their beliefs about TACO, so it takes ever more extreme actions to convince them he might not TACO.

Buckle up.

If anything, I would expect them to be more likely to turn around if something breaks than an airline for something they could theoretically fly with broken, since they don’t have a fleet of identical planes at the destination to swap with. Easier to switch at home than risk more trouble abroad.

Those aren’t a bunch of redundant glamour shots… I took the photos week apart. Looks like the alt text didn’t come through.

To me the scary part isn’t so much the creepy photo thing (although it is bad) as the immediate threats if you so much as ask what’s going on. 0 to 100.

You are the one who said that. Not me. I responded to someone whose concern was fear of job loss when *others* are dying. I haven’t seen much evidence of empathy in your subsequent insta-escalation, so I’ll have to take your word for it. If you enjoy raging out at your own interpretations, go ahead.

I hope you are able to, or at least find a different job working for someone from whom you don’t fear retribution. It may be a difficult decade ahead.

Is it possible that it’s like that precisely because everyone thinks as you do, bullied into suppressing their conscience and blinding themselves to what is right?

Found out that you did what? Literally anything? Anything at all? I don’t think that’s likely.
