After weeks out of service (or, I guess, somehow repeatedly being pulled?) the fire alarm in this GO station is now fixed and protected. This thing’s saga makes me wonder how much other safety infrastructure is waiting to be fixed.

Bizarre as it seems, Trump may genuinely be unable to grasp that the Nobel Committee is independent - because the very idea of an institution remaining outside political control is alien to him.

I am beginning to see it like this: the Democrats’ leadership may be warming to the that taking Greenland IS good, actually, but they don’t want too much of the stink on them. If they inherit a fait accomplit they don’t want to be on record saying they would give it back.
