"Appelcline: I was delighted to write about the original edition of Palace of the Silver Princess. This is one of the most legendary products ever published by TSR because the first edition of it was destroyed. They printed it, they gave out copies to the people at TSR, they got some out to distributors, and then — this is all hearsay, but that's part of what made it exciting, trying to figure out what happened — management, apparently, got a look at it and said, oh, this is terrible, we can't send it out. They went around, they collected the copies from everyone at TSR, they tried to get whatever copies that they'd sent out back. And then they had one person in charge of bringing them out to the landfill and watch as they were bulldozed under, so that no one else got copies of them."

I will probably check back in with you on that. I only got access to them once they opened the account back up. Someone in the community has some tools for organizing the new playlists, so that's handled, but I'll eventually want to make good backups for at least the most important videos.

Twenty days later YouTube finished their review and "after taking another look, we can confirm that it is not in violation of our Terms of Service."

So my channel is back...except they blew away the playlists I used to organize my 1200+ videos. So I have to rebuild years of work.

The only thing I can imagine is that the algorithm flagged it as spam because I use the same title card for sessions in a series. Maybe they read that as me uploading the same video?

If anyone has help, suggestions, someone they know-- or who has had the same thing happen, I'd love some advice.

I have this year's sessions backed up but nothing beyond that.

The other gut punch is that I can't watch YouTube on my account: saved videos, subscriptions, favs. I have a Premium sub and they even charged me for that last week, even though I don't have access to it.

I've had people reach trying to refer folks to one of my sessions. I post to preserve play, but more to show off games & stories. I have a little over 1K subscribers. Most comments are from folks thanking me because they want to the game or saying that they enjoyed the characters and tales.

I filed an appeal right away. You get 800 words to explain yourself. They say it takes at least two business days but it has been two weeks now. There's no way to follow up- it takes me to the "we're reviewing page" when I do.

I'm kind of terrified. That's a lot of work and good memories there.
