I'm gonna make a thread of advice for new users getting started on here from my experience using the site for ~2 years 🧵
DO NOT USE BLOCKLISTS, it may seem tempting to be able to block bad people with one click but they are usually not vetted. It's better to use your own judgment when blocking.

Some bluesky tips I've learned so far for new artists that are joining! Go to "Settings > moderation > advanced" to enable how you can view moderated content on your feed, and "Languages > Content Languages > Select Languages" to make sure all options are unchecked to see posts in every language!

Because its normal people giving awards for real shit, like tech that revolutionized camera motion or new lighting stuff or advancements in make up art techniques, there is no glamour. It is a chill event.

If the average American could read a book, and ever read a book on the history of Korea and the United States' involvement in the history of the nation, I like to think they'd feel such intense shame that their heads would explode Scanners style, if the average American could experience shame
