Most of these ended up rewiring my brain at one point or another.
The 5 (.5) horsemen of this kind of fiction for me are:

1: Umineko No Naku Koro Ni
2: The House in Fata Morgana
3: 1000xResist
4: 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim (with minor caveats)
5: 999

Bonus: AI somnium files (with major caveats)

Mt favorite type of narrative is the following experience:

1: interesting mystery premise
2: wtf is going on
3: how can any of this end up making sense
4: wait
5: It DOES make sense!
6: omg my heart is broken

Damn if I had seen Wicked when it first came out and I was 13 it would have done things to me.

Every trans adult was once a trans child.
Today is the Transgender Day of Remembrance. Trans people have literally always been here; every time I see someone sneering "oh but there were no trans people when I was in high school," well. I dated a trans girl in high school, and was close friends with a trans guy.

Oh shit, I'm so excited. When I first played Of The Devil back in January I declared it my got, and despite a slew of other fantastic games since my opinion has not wavered.
HE'S COME TO COLLECT.

Hey folks, I often do posts calling for indie developers to link me their games so I can signal boost them. Today I want to do something similar for all trans creatives.

If you are a trans game dev, artist, writer, streamer or YouTuber, reply here with a link to your work. Only one rule: no GenAI.💜

Have plans to play in a one-shot ttrpg this weekend, with pregenned characters, and got this in my character notes.

And y'know? Sometimes it's nice to be seen.

It must be weird, being the editor for a manga that's about a mangaka and her editor falling in love.

I want lesbian opera.

All the same stupid drama, the infidelity, the wacky misunderstandings, the tragicly pointless deaths.

Just with all girls.

Bluesky, I'd love to see your swords!

This is the sword I forged for my wedding.

My in-laws made the sheathe, and the blacksmith teaching the swordsmithing class doing most of the detail work is the only reason it looks so good, but I'm still incredibly proud of it.

I was a guest on a podcast for the very first time! It was a ton of fun, and you should give it a listen if you wanna hear me yap about fanfiction, how much f/f fanfic meant to me when I was young, and everything I learned from it that I have since brought to my original writing!
The next episode of SaFic & Chill features author Beatrice Mckinsley! It will be releasing on November 11th! @oroboro.itch.io

Finished my rewatch of Code Geass yesterday and it's even stupider than I remembered. S2 especially is a rushed, hot mess that barely comes together at all.

I love it.
