Christian Clothing CEO: You finish that sweatshirt about saving as many souls as possible?
Christian Clothing Designer: Sure did, boss. Real fuckin’ ominous and with an implied threat of mass murder, just like you asked.
Christian Clothing CEO: What.

really hate the fact that the antlers have been quietly dropped bangers for 20 years straight and only one of their records gets any attention

vividly remember when my high school english teacher pointed out that polonius's "brevity is the soul of wit" comes from the character who never ever stops talking
This is one of the weirdest things when people are quoting Shakespeare. Practically every line Shakespeare ever wrote is being said by a character who has his own motivations, context, meaning. the lines by themselves are like saying lama sabachthani without, you know, the Cross
*a character in Shakespeare said this in a dramatic context that frames its meaning

on a rewatch 2 years later, i think glass onion is a really great time

most (not all) of the problems i had with it on my first watch kinda evaporate once you know what is going on

not quite as good as the original, but still very fun - and with the most unhinged introduction to blanc of all time

Will Arnett was on Conan and told a story about how Conan dealt with the death of his parents by accusing Jason Bateman of killing them. It’s so funny.

unfortunately, through the power of youtube shuffle (???), i have rediscovered that kanye's runaway is still an all-timer and might be even better in my ears than it was in 2010
