my first hk replay post-silksong has me mildly more positive on the game as a whole
it definitely *feels* easier now, but that could just be getting more familiar with the game as a whole (not necessarily attributed to silksong)

TODAY I LEARNED that not only is the defect's strike/meteor strike beta art a funny pun, it is also a before/after
you can see the meteors coming in from just out of frame on the left and their impact on the ground on the right (the exploder blows up on its own of course)
