Yes, I apologize - I'm not trying to be patronizing, I know you're very experienced.
As a fan of your style, I thought your world building would be a good fit for an open world style exploration game . ☁️🛥️⛅

I think your style is unique enough to garner an interest, and your barges feel "modular" already which is a great thing for gaming.

You never know - if there's a good idea behind it I'm sure there could be an interest - maybe a smaller publisher would be all over it.

Like imagine a scavenging game where you modify your Ian McQue barge. If you equip it with larger cargo space you get more inventory but consume more fuel etc.

I could not find the version I had of this that had two characters in it, but oh well.

I think this would be a pretty cool game environment that I havent seen explored much in games in general. There's something about large objects suspended in the air that is absolutely unsettling. 🕷️🕸️

Thank you! I really like the energy of your own drawings! They look great 🤎

I think back to when he was Pao back in the Sijun-forum days - he was already one of best!

So nice, why hasnt your art gotten turned into a game yet?
December 20, 2025 at 12:42 PM
Haha, thank you. While I love 2D art, I have an appetite for all things games. I feel humbled to retread steps taken by industry giants, figuring out how code work.
Even when working with idols such as Mullins or Antonov its always been art in combination with tech that has made the stories great.

I'm a principal AAA concept artist and while I don't like generative ai I have a hard time seeing how it wont be part of game development in the future. Its very, very hard to convince suits how we should do our jobs best.

2/2

The song faltered. Jacob’s friend fell silent, staring back in dread.
A great wave had risen before them. Lightning cracked again and for just an instant, the light outlined a great silhouette within - shapeless, incomprehensible, terrible.

As a non-american - can you please become president again? The world needs more yes- we-can and less division 🙏

Love it. So cool (and delicious) 🥨

Sorry for the slow reply - I completely missed it! Yes, I agree, I think all the pdx franchises are really elevated by the illustrations. I was lucky to get to work with so many talented colleagues

Thank u!

Thank you ♥️ there's definitely something nice watching shape and form emerge
December 18, 2025 at 3:07 PM
For me, it comes from the combination of chaos and order. Like watching the foam on the ocean waves briefly form a shape, to see a seemingly random marks make a drawing come to life or watch a spider spinning its web. Math is beautiful.

Thank you, Freddie! It's a genre I often find myself drawn to 😅

Thanks, Kenneth! Means a lot coming from someone as knowledgeable as you! ♥️

*pretends to be shocked* Who could have seen this coming? 🙄
