I don't wanna pressurise anyway but I can't wait to see @billycarpy.bsky.social breakdown Jason Ayto, Dan Ashworth, Andrea Berta, Roberto Olabe, Thiago Scuro as options for Arsenal new DoF

The best ones ages 18-21 left already because of pathway. Some of us called this years ago and we're told to piss off
How can a club of Arsenal's size and stature not have a decent striker at U-21 level who could come in and play? At least off the bench. There are 12 forwards listed on the "Academy" section of the website.

I ran here to see your reaction to he Chelsea Tel news 😂
A risk-sensitive but aggressive approach:
1. Loan-to-buy Tel
2. Loan-to-buy Luiz

Who could've predicted this 😮
The fall-off in Trossard's goal impact is disappointing and probably a bit under-discussed. He has done the following G+A per 90 over the last three seasons:

0.6 at Brighton
1.1 at Arsenal (all the assists)
0.7 last year (all the goals)
0.4 this year.

Neutrals must have enjoyed but I was stressed
That’s some sh*t. 35-34 the final score…

I've been chilling and enjoying too long. I need to force myself into more adult endeavours

Issue is we have backup that don't even offer the basic or the core roles in those positions.

I'd argue Jesus and Nwaneri are great backups for Saka and Odegaard but we never see it for whatever reason...

But either way there's a real lack of bodies and quality in attack. And it shows.
Arsenal did not screw up their summer business | I wrote this in November and I stand by it. I am not sure you can or should plan to have no drop-off backup for two of the best players being out for extended periods (with other injury issues on top of it).
Arsenal did not screw up their summer business
Arsenal addressed the biggest needs and weren't perfect, that doesn't mean it was a bad summer either

Arsenal have won just two of their 10 Premier League matches against the teams in the top 10 this season. (D6 L2)

That Henry segment was so refreshing. Good balance between individual responsibilities and the entire attack failing to do certain things

Arsenal's pre-academy boys, the 7-8 year olds at Hale End, were mascots for the game against Monaco. Could Arsenal have a more perfect example for them to look up to than Bukayo Saka?

The high level he hits with such regularity raises the bar across the club.

Bukayo Saka represents something profound for Arsenal and those who hope to follow him
The 23-year-old is a role model and an inspiration to younger players at the club who wish to take the same path to the first team

Fuck I think we totally forgot that part in Dune Pt. 2 about not falling for charismatic violent folk heroes fueled by vengeance who look like Timothee Chalamet in a hoodie

Word. As a man you have to err in the side of caution. If she's feeling you the oppurtunity will come again
I think that unfortunately, a lot of men don’t see themselves as deviants or creeps cause they don’t directly use force with women but a lot of the things they do when interacting with women are fucking weird

Would he be happy with that role though? He made his point just this season about being unhappy not starting games
Not surprised tbh. He’s the kind of guy they can continue to use and slowly transition into a fifth and sixth attacker over the next couple years, while using the money saved to try for a second-third attacker
November 22, 2024 at 8:40 PM
He can't risk a narrow victory. Also the importance of cohesion is massively underrated. It's basically a bigger risk and will blunt the attack if he makes too many changes.

That said yeah I thought he'd rotate more and rest guys like Itoje and Earl who have ridiculous workloads
Shocked at how strong England have gone, honestly

It’s a no win scenario for Borthwick, if he wins by 50 they’ll say Japan were rubbish, if he win’s by 5 they’ll say England were also rubbish

I was convinced Fin Smith would get a start 🤷

Is this irrespective of how far back the ball has been passed?
Which teams across the Prem, Top14, and URC have been the best from set attacks (lineouts + scrums) across the first three phases in the Oppo's half? Oval Insights for the data!

Key takeaways - Dragons doing a great job even though they're not averaging many metres. Bristol excellent!
