The Epstein birthday stuff...I haven't looked at much, but what I have seen just confirms what we've all thought/known: the clubby, chummy smugness, the 'all lads together' laughs. Vile, disgusting, and needs to be obliterated & relegated to the past. This is the old world order. We can do better.

California, Illinois, and New Jersey have barred their sheriffs from joining ICE's 287(g) program. This spring, Maryland Democrats chose not to adopt similar restrictions.

...in this war, the most radical act is continuity. To keep planting seeds when systems say starvation is inevitable; to keep telling stories when silence is enforced; to keep remembering when erasure is the law. Continuity itself is resistance, an echo louder than rebellion.

Portugal's 1974 Carnation Revolution ended 40 years of fascist regime.

But it's important to remember that the govt was ALSO fighting against people in colonies who were were trying to break free after HUNDREDS of years.

Like French Revolution & Haitian Revolution.

A lesson for us.

this is, among other things, scabbing and should be treated as an attack on the rights of workers
National Guard soldiers called into service for President Trump's law enforcement surge in D.C. have been assigned to spread mulch at federal monuments.

Normally the Park Service does that, but the administration laid off the workers.
