This person is trying to trick you into thinking animation is an art form. It’s not; it is a form of trickery where a million identical pictures are drawn in a hurried rush to delude children’s minds into seeing motion. Don’t be duped.
I find it funny when an animated movie for an original IP that wasn't meant to be a big deal ends up making bank, and then every executive is left wondering how it happened. The answer is then always that the movie had a coherent and well-crafted story, looked cool, and had good music. Every time.
