This model has been found to only be used in one cutscene, but people have been insisting it's the entire game. They just took a model out of a datamine and assumed and the narrative spread

frankly insane that 20-ish years ago some devs in japan said "how do we adapt mystery dungeon for pokemon," someone said "why don't we have the player be a pokemon," and as a direct result i now wear a collar and have about 5 online friends that identify as the mythical pokemon mew

one thing i like a lot about mh wilds is that for once in this style of game you aren't a newbie rookie making your way in the world but your character already starts as an established hunter with a name for themself facing new challenges instead
