Remember intersectionality
Remember nuance
Remember the marginalized
Remember the outliers
Remember the disenfranchised
Remember those who will be hurt the most
Remember those who are considered least

In our advocacy, in our work, in our efforts for a better world, we must make sure we remember.

Laughing at the fact that all of the hobbies I had growing up that folks told me were “nerdy” like
-reading,
-spending time at the library,
-civic engagement,
-community service,
are now so bad ass.

-Call your Representatives

Understand, the mass rollback on DEI is a test. We are being tested to see just how much we’ll allow corporations and our government lean into discrimination.

They won’t stop at DEI initiatives.

One of the beautiful things about the Montgomery Bus Boycott was its INTENTIONALITY. It was well-planned & well-executed. Folks thought about their neighbor's & communities' needs.
It wasn't about mere individual actions but the collaborative actions of the collective.
We gotta get back to that.

We’re meant to calmly accept the absurd idea that any white man is innately qualified for any job or position, no matter what his education, resume or proven capabilities and any non-white man or woman inherently stole their way into employment via #DEI. This of course is pure, undiluted fascism.

Do one thing every day to help someone currently in harms way.

Learn how to identify and protect neighbours from ICE agents.

Stand up for the LGBTQ+ community.

Wear a mask in solidarity with the disabled community.

Learn about anti-Blackness and commit to doing better.

Don’t let hate win.

If DEI was about “giving people jobs just bc they’re Black, or gay, or a woman”:

A lot more of us would be gainfully employed and making really good $$$ (which many of us are taking whatever we can get to make sure our ends meet).

Try something else to justify your hatred for marginalized ppl.
