This is a pretty typical "post summer" crowd. MANY European tourists, especially from France, Spain & the UK. Students on their start-of-last-year journeys and tourists who smartly avoided the summer heat & crowds.

Surprisingly there are quite a few Americans. (Judging from their accents.)

I paid for $32 of shaving cream from Canada. Unique stuff I’ve used for years, nothing like it in US. Small family business.

UPS guy came to my door today with box and said I have to pay additional $120 before he can hand it to me.

Today I learned that in 1140 king Conrad put the city of Weinsberg under siege. The city surrendered and the king permitted the women of the city to leave with whatever possessions they could carry.

The women left their belongings behind & instead carried their men on their shoulders.
