M&S advert banned for having an unhealthily thin model. Meanwhile adverts with unhealthily fat models are celebrated for body positivity?

The banning of Palestinian Action and peaceful protest is the evidence. It is fascism to make non-terrorists considered terrorists and then threaten peaceful protests with 14 years in prison, all so you can keep selling weapons and giving direct support to a nation committing a holocaust.

An incredible protugese vocalist with talented musicians.
"The world of Portuguese fado is full of emotion that is on display within seconds of this performance by vocalist Carminho," NPR Music's Felix Contreras says of Carminho's new @npr.org Tiny Desk Concert. You can watch it at www.nonesuch.com/journal/watc...

Is the US going to have another election? I find it hard to believe anyone will remove Trump and his family from power. I used to think the death of us democracy was a scare story, now I think we will look back and say that it's already happened.

I'm enjoying bluesky so far but It needs funding. Advertisers make these things worse. Two tier systems make things worse. Just charge all of us for access. Employ people to stop bots and deal with moderation complaints.

If civilisation does collapse, I don't think lack of tik tok will be the reason.

The communication around the parker solar probe is so 'populist' and 'dumbed down' it really is right at home on youtube. A side effect of this is it enables perhaps even encourages crazy conspiracy theories. Its not 'touching the sun' in any meaningful way, if it did it would melt.

I respectfully disagree with whoever decided millions of miles are a better unit of measurement than solar radii when talking about the parker solar probe. I think we all want a proportionate image, absolute units of measurement mean nothing in space. 9.5 solar radii is roughly how close.

I hope @bsky.app starts to charge us all for this service. Not for privileged access or a blue tick. For the service, and some customer service that responds! Adverts and changes to manipulate viewing to sell more adverts is where twitter went wrong. I`ll pay for a good product. Nothing is free.

I seem to be the only armwrestling fan on bluesky. I'm fine with that. King of the table 13 is an awesome event so far. You lot are missing out!

Driving to work today just outside braemar -7, ice on the road, massive stag slowly wading across the river. One of the best wildlife sightings I've had. Majestic beast just taking its time. Tried to get a photo but my parking spot in the middle of the road wasn't free for long unfortunately!
