Bluesky head of Trust and Safety Aaron Rodericks responding to a post that says "Since the 'enforcement action' was just a 3 day ban, I guess it's safe to say you view sexual harassment as approximately 1/10th as severe a violation as a trans person being rude to a cis journalist" with "This is false equivalence. Comparing a sympathetic narrative that is convenient to pretend bias on the part of the refs - and had nothing to do with the suspension you are referencing."

Another user responds: I don't think this is a false equivalence. It's not "sexual harassment," it is actually a violation of revenge porn laws against MANY different users.

It wasn't even 3 days per victim, it was 3 days total!

Seems really disproportionate, Aaron!

$Aaron responds to the previous user with: I believe the closest legal principle is "double jeopardy", but generally speaking T&S will consolidate each infraction into a single strike. le the issue was sharing a violative link on Bluesky which counts as a single infraction, not multiple counts for however many images there were in the link.$

Want to be real clear as I see the jokes devolve, it's not embarrassing that Aaron was looking at porn. Bluesky was built by trannies and sex workers. The embarrassing parts is that was doing it on his work account and liking stolen content from a super obvious scam bot. And his nuclear reaction.
