Recently I realized my lack of skill w/facial expressions and 2D character art. Since August, I've been doing some sketch studies a few times per week, starting with eyes and brows.

I...I think I'm improving.

While the prior pics were practicing a more cartoonish style, this page explores a soft pencil portrait with attention to light and shadow. 2 pairs of expressions--one from the front, the other at a tilt. Reference images of actor Jonah Scott are to the side.

Been make more DnD sheets recently and had to make a wedding invitation inspired character sheet in honor of Jester and Fjord’s wedding! I couldn’t resist the idea of Jester scribbling on her wedding invitations just to let people know how awesome it’d be.

I got "flashy-thinged" yesterday. Pretty sure it triggered seizure clusters. Last night I was still showing signs of seizures so I popped my "rescue" med. Knocked me out. Except for a half hour or so, I slept hard from 1130pm til 9 this morning.

And now I need a nap.

It's 11am.

When you were in school, did you look at older kids and say, "well they're dealing with more/harder homework, so I can't complain that my assignment is hard."

They are students
You're a student.
You're in the same school and dealing with homework.
That doesn't mean your homework isn't hard or that your backpack isn't heavy.
