Thank you - I think you told me about this before, my vet doesn't seem to realise it's an option, but will ask again now!

The Seven-armed octopus (Haliphron atlanticus) is a large octopus species, that as its name suggests, has eight arms!

The reason it gets its name is that males have their hectocotylus (a specialized arm used for mating) curled up in a pouch, making it look like they only have seven arms

A seven-armed octopus (Haliphron atlanticus) swimming in ocean. Its arms are held together, with two arms extended a bit further, so it looks like a big pink blob. A seven-armed octopus (Haliphron atlanticus) swimming in a kelp forest. It looks like an orangish gelatinous blob with arms. A view of a seven-armed octopus's (Haliphron atlanticus) mouth. Its arms are spread out, showing the messy row of suckers and webbing. You can see the octopus's eight arms. The octopus is orange with white suckers. It is swimming in a kelp forest. A seven-armed octopus (Haliphron atlanticus) swimming towards the camera while extending its arms. Webbing is between its arms and the tips of the arms are curled outwards. The rest of the octopus is gelatinous. It is pink.

I'm sorry: "if I wish to see a virgin on-screen"?
My Favorite Actress Is Not Human
Tilly Norwood doesn’t need a hairstylist, has no regrettable posts, and if you wish to see a virgin on-screen, this is one of your better chances. That’s because she’s AI.

A picture of some AI girl standing on an AI landscape with an AI monster behind her. I'm gonna be so real: she looks about 14

7 years ago Tim Cook told the European Parliament:

“We're responsible for recognizing that the devices we make and platforms we build have real…lasting…even permanent effects on individuals and communities who use them

We must never stop asking ourselves What kind of world do we want to live in?"

Leave aside the Connolly campaign. Consider all the people who go through garda vetting. That is a significant bloc of the population- volunteer parents helping kids in sports, at scouts, in charities.

Will that police data leak if the Gardaí want to intervene in a political campaign in the future?

Hegseth's grasp at macho militarism, including pretty explicitly calling for soldiers to commit war crimes, reminded me of Barbara Ehrenreich's reaction to Abu Ghraib: "It is not enough to be equal to men when the men are acting like beasts."

New from 404 Media: landlords are demanding potential tenants hand over employer login credentials so a tool can verify their income. I was sent screenshot of the tool, Argyle, downloading much more data than necessary to approve the renter. Opt-out means no housing

No, "the world's taste for soya" isn't to blame: most people won't taste any soya, but the meat, dairy, eggs and fish produced very inefficiently with the soya as feed.
