i also got a ps2 with network adapter for $16 (plus $5 for the video cables that weren't included but i found another one in the bottom of a cable bin). it is dirty as hell but I'm gonna have fun cleaning it up :)

at first i thought i got scammed even tho this router looked unused. i could NOT access its web UI despite trying a list of IPs, resetting it a few times, and trying different devices. but turned out it didn't have a static IP so the stupid Xfinity combo assigned it a weird one.

i disabled the wifi built into my shit xfinity modem and replaced it with a $12 router I got at a thrift store and experienced a complete end to the random internet drops that previous happened multiple times a day.

i needed a measuring tape to know for sure how big a certain table lamp would be irl, but daisy was sitting in my lap and i didn't want to disturb her. so i looked up the dimensions of my phone amd used it as a yardstick here :)

been going soup crazy lately btw. favorite concepts so far:
•leftover soup for breakfast by adding a fried egg and crusty slice of toast to a thick soup
•using silken tofu rather than noodles (doesn't geat bloated, just tasty)
•roasting a bunch of veggies and then blending them into soup

I don't get how people don't realize that a technology that replaces junior and entry level positions in a field destroys that field.
