When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

To post about layoffs without directly owning up to the action is disappointingly shitty. If you’re going to do it, be honest. Love my friends at BioWare, they are incredible people that just want to make incredible adventures and have the resources to do it. This isn’t right.
Some BioWare folks are posting saying they've been laid off--but the company doesn't mention those in here!!! They're hiding it behind the reassignments!

So in my new DND game, my DM decided he was gonna traumatize my character right off the bat because he didn't get the chance to in a previous game that fell apart.
I mean my character's backstory DID give him a fucked up villain on a silver platter, but that is besides the point.
