Why am I writing words that get ignored by strangers here when I could be writing words that get ignored by my academic colleagues in books and journals?

It's way too cold to go outside. No problem for me because I happily stayed inside and wrote all day.

i know we've all come to hate the "aesthetic culture" where everything is done for an aesthetic but let me tell you that nothing gets me writing more than the "writer's aesthetic" in which, i sit at a desk with cup of hot coffee

my rule for writing fanfiction is that i'm allowed to make it a little cheesy and ridiculous because it's fanfiction lol. i'm gonna make it as good as possible, but it's gonna be a bit silly sometimes and that is ok

when people ask what you're writing/reading and you don't want to say fanfiction:

Don't ever think your writing is not good because it's fanfiction. Retellings are a very VERY old thing.
