@pepchasdrdave A friend of mine suggests that Trump may be deliberately tanking the treasury bond market to reduce the payments required for an upcoming bond interest payment. Is this possible, or is it just malevolent incompetence?

In the end Trump got away with everything (except the crimes and civil violations he committed in New York). And I don't blame Jack Smith. He did his job. I 100 percent blame Merrick Garland, who frittered away two full years and let Trump walk for stealing classified documents and fomenting a coup.
Yes, Jack Smith resigning was expected, but it still feels like justice has left the building.

In the end Trump got away with everything (except the crimes and civil violations he committed in New York). And I don't blame Jack Smith. He did his job. Although I think I know the answer, I wonder if Trump realises that Greenland/Denmark and Canada are NATO members, and an invasion would be an act of war against NATO.
