Labour promised us 'the biggest wave of insourcing of public services in a generation.'

Some @unison NHS staff are seeing the exact opposite, with plans to shift them to worse contracts with a private provider.

Labour must make good on its insourcing promise and keep our #NHS public.

The #EUMethaneRegulation must be fully implemented to cut emissions, including those from imported energy. And we need a full fossil gas phase-out by 2035 ❗

At least he's now being honest. All the previous negotiations about Palestinian statehood were stalling tactics to pacify Palestinian aspirations while illegally occupying more and more land and killing Palestinians (which didn't begin on Oct 7th!)

I of course welcome the recognition of the state of Palestine.

And there won't be a Palestinian state left if government's continue enabling Israel's unfolding genocide.

Labour can't credibly support Palestinian statehood whilst also continuing to arm Israel.

Anyone else bored of hearing from political leaders that the 'economic case' of climate change (how profitable green solutions are) will deliver the change we need. It won't. Not while trashing it also remains very profitable. It's about incumbent power, stupid!

It's not only workers suffering from heatwaves:

A recent study from @granthamicl.bsky.social shows climate change led to an additional 16,500 summer heat deaths across European cities this summer.

Adapting to climate change is undeniably a class issue.
