There is a long list of traitorous, greedy, rash, and reckless people who have made it their life’s work to tear down any control or regulation of their pursuit of everything they can get their hands on.
Tech oligarchs could not care less about their country’s interests, as they only push their own.

These are people who would sell their mom for the right price

And what did the apology look like? What words did they say? And have they changed - truly changed - their behavior?
Pro tip: Don’t expect an honest answer.
Next time someone says they don’t have to apologize for being white anymore, ask them to tell about the most recent time they were forced to apologize for being white and who made them do it.

this is very clear: if you claim christianity but don't follow the teachings of Jesus, you aren't a christian, you are a fraud and a heretic.
if you claim to be an American, but don't follow the Constitution and you undermine democracy, you aren't a patriot, you are a fraud and a traitor.

What do they do? They do what everyone does after an election, win or lose - live with the outcome and get ready for the next election. Loyal opposition is an option. Leaving the city is, too.
"nearly half" is a really funny way to describe losing an election lol

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Heritage Americans are created equal … “
For those not following at home, “Heritage American” is a category of white supremacy covering people whose ancestors were white folks who were pioneers.

Merry Christmas!

The President of Peace just bombed Nigeria.

Plus, she had to burn precious minutes watching the piece she spiked.
I think it’s pretty likely Bari Weiss quits far sooner than anyone expects because if there’s anything we learned from her tenure at the New York Times it’s that this lady hates working, absolutely despises it, and she probably had to send like four emails today

Well, if this isn’t nice I don’t know what is. We’re in LA. Kathy was on the phone with a customer service rep in the Philippines, and mentioned that her husband (🙋‍♂️) is a musician with albums online. He asked for my name & when she told him, he said he’s familiar with my music and he loves it! 🤗 😊❤️🎶

I never for a second thought he couldn’t get any worse. After all we’ve seen - the hatred, the stupidity, the damage done, the lives lost and ruined, all of it - I’m 100% sure we ain’t seen nothing yet.
Every time you think Trump can’t possibly get any worse, he gets worse.

Needs a punch up and a solid payoff to really work - but this has the makings of a fair-to-middling sketch comedy piece.
Another drunk entitled Karen showing her ass.
MAGA mama tells cops to "Call ICE" on neighbor—for parking on public street.

"They need to go back to Mexico," she yells.

"Trump is our president—you understand that right?... Trump says to deport them all."

The incident occurred in the Oak Ridge North suburb of Houston, Texas.

Sorry travel and tourism, bailouts are for soy farmers only.
The US is down at least $30 billion in tourism for 2025. International boycotts and a loss in appeal to visit due to Donald Trump has resulted in millions of trips canceled.

I’m doing some Christmas shopping this week. Who do I talk to in the administration to make sure I get just exactly the right fucking number of each item?
Trump: "You can give up certain products. You could give up pencils. Because under the China policy, every child can get 37 pencils. They only need 1 or 2. They don't need that many. You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter. 2 or 3 is nice. So we're doing things right."

Meh … 2016 … was so last year …
BOOM!

In 2016, Hegseth repeatedly said the military wouldn’t follow illegal orders, even Donald Trump‘s.

How much longer is this guy going to get away with his BS story?
Q: "What grade would you give the economy?"

Trump: "A + + + +"

Q: "Are you still worried about the economy?"

Trump: "Prices are coming down substantially…Prices are all coming down. It's been 10 months, it's amazing what we've done."

Step 1) Inflict pain on farmers and consumers
Step 2) Use public funds to (almost but not quite) compensate farmers for their losses
Result: Limit the political damage caused by Step 1
Bottom line: Congratulations, taxpayers! You’re all Trump donors now!!! 💸💸💸

It's also: you don't know who is going to become what. A society more confident in itself would believe a little bit more in its ability to make anyone thrive and give back.
My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’

I’m sure the greatest press corps the world has ever known will get right on that - after they’ve followed every lead to get the full story out on the “assassination” in Pennsylvania.
It really is amazing that the president has a noticeable an unexplained physical ailment that is disfiguring his right hand and there's no reporting about it. The White House's line is that it's from Trump shaking too many hands! Something is clearly being covered up.
