I was a counterprotester on January 6. Holding an anti-Trump sign outside the Capitol, I was assaulted. I witnessed the rioters carrying weapons and shouting in unison about murdering Congress.

January 6th was not a peaceful protest. It was a violent coup attempt by Trump supporters. Never forget.

Palestinian children have been demonized, and stripped of all their humanity by right-wing pundits and conservative Democrats who cheered as bombs ended thousands of lives. I will never forget, nor will I forgive, people who justified their massacre.

Greta Thunberg and multiple other activists have been abducted by the IDF. The Israeli government is torturing people who tried to bring food into war-torn Gaza. It truly sickens me that our government is financing gross abuses of power - both here and abroad.

They must be released immediately.

The Guardian article quote: “They dragged little Greta [Thunberg] by her hair before our eyes, beat her, and forced her to kiss the Israeli flag. They did everything imaginable to her, as a warning to others,” the Turkish activist ErsinCelik, a participant, in the Sumud flotilla, told Anadolu news agency.
