I am currently reading Whalefall, by Daniel Kraus, a very suspenseful novel about a 17-year-old diver who gets swallowed by a sperm whale and has one hour to get out before his oxygen tank is empty. It is very calming, somehow, to read a novel about a completely non-relatable misfortune.
