It's been a personally eventful year and not necessarily in good ways.
One bright spot is I finally sat down and started extricating my finances from the AWS money pit. Why did I have Namecheap AND Route53 entries? And Workmail is expensive for what amounts to a bunch of vanity email spam catchers.

Normalize not posting numeric time commitments next to online #training material. I can't remember these ever being accurate, if I am supposed to read the material, comprehend it, AND perform lab work.
Also, I'm an extensive note-taker, which balloons time spent. This course took me a full day.

I was surprised this evening when metered street parking in downtown Denver didn't require one of my several installed parking apps or having to install a new one and then suffering the agony of inputting a credit card while my family waits for me to finish so we can make our dinner reservation.
I just want to say that I’m really fucking tired of downloading apps. Want to park? Download an app. Want to see kids school band concert? Download this app for tickets! Want to talk to kids teacher? No more emails, download this app! Oh, and each school subject will have a different app!
