More typeface info: it did come into use not long after the building was built - but would not have been on signs, since it was metal type.

The top of the sign structure is fairly accurate, but when you throw a bunch of ugly signs and LED panels below it... there's not much you can do. And the Park Crossing letters themselves are not historically accurate (typeface not in existence in that era, a time of sign painters).
