It is an inexcusable omission, and editorial malpractice, for Reuters to omit mention that the President doing this kind of thing on a media platform he owns & has not divested is unprecedented, likely illegal and an ethical violation. The message itself is unprecedented and illegal. Why not say so?

Overall 50 fewer shootings, 9 fewer homicides, 1/3 fewer carjackings and robberies. Stolen cars down 1/4. Robberies almost 20% lower than pre-Covid, burglaries almost 30% lower.
